For actualising prime minister's dream of ‘Make in India’ Government of India has selected and supported few promising schools in the country to develop ‘Atal Tinkering labs’ as incubation centres.

1.The objective of these labs is to develop innovation and entrepreneurship skills in school children
2.To create workspaces where young minds can learn innovation skills, sculpt ideas through hands-on activities, work and learn in a flexible environment.
3.To empower our youth with the 21 century skills of creativity, innovation, critical thinking, design thinking, social and cross-cultural collaboration, ethical leadership and so on.
4.To help build innovative solutions for India’s unique problems and thereby support India’s efforts to grow as a knowledge economy.

STEAM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEAM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.
A robust STEAM education creates critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and next generation innovators. Taking into consideration that India is one of the countries that produces the highest number of scientists and engineers, the growth of STEAM has picked up significantly over the last few years.

City Pride School has well developed CREYA Lab to impart STEAM education. CREYA Lab consists of activities like making of nut cracker, block lifter, pattern making in tinker application,Internet of Things (IOT) makes use of sensors and LED lights to create complete circuits. Digital Marketing tool – power director is used to make advertisements etc. to name a few.

City Pride School has developed state of art discovery lab. Discovery lab is a place which has given platform to students to get a hands on experience on scientific principles and experiments. It introduces learning by doing method of education. The activities in this lab include application of science in our daily life. Students are taught concepts like magnetism, light, heat, sound , identification of adulteration in substances, applications related to work, force pressure etc. in a fun and play way method. Discovery is a platform where learning of science takes place in enquiry and effective manner.

Robotics is an interdisciplinary field that integrates Computers, Electronics and Engineering. In Robotics Lab, the students use different types of kits to make the prototype models of different types of machines like ropeway, mopping bot, Forklift, crane and many more. They understand the mechanisms and learn about simple machines, gears, motors and many other complex machines. They really enjoy learning with fun and how to work in team. Different kinds of sensors are introduced to the students. They learn how to calibrate the sensors and use them in applications of day today life like obstacle detector, Sorting things according to the colour using Infrared Sensor, black line follower etc. using different programming softwares. Making things on their own and getting the right output give immense pleasure to the students and builds their confidence.
The school has established well equipped Robotics lab. The students can choose robotics as an elective from std. 6th and get in depth training of Robotics up to programming level. Students build Robots, programme them according to the tasks given.

Electronic devices have become an important part of our day-to-day life. It has become difficult for us to do work without using the electronic devices. We live in a generation that uses electronics and technologies where robots and artificial intelligence are capable of doing human work with more ease and efficiency. Exciting developments in Electronics mean we can develop innovative products and help transform the way we live; from healthcare to entertainment. Electronics is high end application of physics. It is the foundation for automation and technology. Along with learning basic principles of electronics through hand on experiments children prepare use full electronics products. kids make electronics gadgets in the state of art electronic lab.

School has developed Mechanical Engineering lab with the facility of Computer aided design. The 3D printer in the school is used for manufacturing the actual prototypes of designs prepared by students. Various Mechanical Engineering concepts are strengthened through use of mechanical tools in this lab. The airomodelling workshops enthrall students thoroughly.

We believe it is fundamentally important to construct starter tasks as the vehicle to develop student's deeper mathematical thinking & to explore mathematical concepts in practical manner. To create visual impact of mathematical concepts, school has setup a wonderful Maths lab. The school has introduced maths learning software which acts as a personal online tutor and takes into consideration the personal needs of every child. Every child is taken through a unique set of problems starting with lower levels of complexity and ending with higher order complexity, encouraging them to understand concepts in a better way. Maths Lab provides an opportunity to students to understand the basic mathematical concepts through concrete objects and situations. It enables the students to verify and discover several geometrical properties and facts using models and by paper using cutting and folding techniques. It helps the students to build interest and confidence in learning the subject. The laboratory provides opportunity to exhibit the relatedness of mathematical concepts with everyday life.For eg: to teach basic addition and subtraction, students and teachers together create a market place and sell and buy wares. There is a bank that lends money. It provides greater scope for individual participation in the process of learning and becoming autonomous learns. The laboratory allows and encourages the students to think, discuss with each other and the teacher and assimilate the concepts in a more effective manner. It enables the teacher to demonstrate, explain and reinforce abstract mathematical ideas by using concrete objects, models, charts, graphs, pictures, etc.

Animation and Gaming is the 'in thing' as they say. It is an ever growing industry which keeps people of all the age groups entertained be it special effects in movies , games, cartoons etc. City Pride School teaches animation from class 6. It is an elective subject. Studets are taught stop gap animation, they are introduced to Unity software, 3D modeling etc.

The art and craft lab in the school is filled with creative designs, craft work , paintings and artistic products. The children are engaged in bringing creative ideas into reality. Selected children are given coaching for elementary and intermediate examinations. Through out the School campus, the expression of artistic talent of students is visible in corridors, walls, paintings every where !!!.
