Math Lab
We believe it is fundamentally important to construct starter tasks as the vehicle to develop student’s deeper mathematical thinking and to explore mathematical concepts in a practical manner. To create visual impact of mathematical concepts school has set up a wonderful Maths Lab. Students visit the maths lab regularly and learn maths concepts in the most enjoying way.
Computer Lab
Strong computer literacy is one of the fundamental skills of 21st century . “ Learning computer skills” and “ building other skills through computers “ … we value both !!! State of art computer labs are available with high speed internet connectivity. Along with computer training School uses computers as application tool for learning core subjects like mathematics Integrated in curriculum. City Pride computer department has written and published books for students of school.
Creya Programme For Design Thinking
The Sanskrit word क्रिया promotes learning by doing !! Grade 4 and grade 5 students start their journey of skill development through design thinking, problem solving at our creya lab. These young buddies experience team work, meaning of sharing responsibilities while finding solution to a capstone problem. Also Students of middle school undergo “Design thinking certificate course” along with developing application based on it. They systematically learn and implement design thinking principles in their respective skill labs to develop projects.
Science and Discovery
Teach with enthusiasm and you are guaranteed to inspire students - teachers ultimate goal !! Science happens all around us everyday but students find it difficult to relate it to their science lessons. The demonstrations in the science labs help the students to see why science is such a fascinating subject. This also stimulates their need to know more about their surroundings and how things work. School has established science labs with strong infrastructure. Additionally school has developed “ discovery lab” with guidance from Gakken Science academy ,Japan. Through this initiative , students learn various scientific principles in the most amazing way. Such exciting ways of learning ensures development of keen interest and curiosity about science in these little scientists which encourages them to participate in various science olympiads and contests.
Art & Craft Lab
The art and craft lab in the school is filled with creative designs, craft work ,paintings and artistic products. The children are engaged in bringing creative ideas into reality. Art and craft teachers along with students explore new ways of creative expression which is evident everywhere in the school campus . Workshops to make Diwali lanterns , Umbrella painting , Ganesh Idol making are conducted for students.
Library
Creating reading habits since early childhood are very important as it helps to inculcate love for books in future. The school has well stocked library with required books on various topics. We have ample of books in our library which is well ventilated with good lighting and spacious reading hall. The library has various magazines, reference books, CD collections for teachers and students. The school plans various activities through library for creating readability among students.
Smart Classrooms
We use technology appropriately to make learning effective and interesting. All the classrooms are smart classes equipped with AV facilities, LCD projectors and Computers in each class. The entire school is Wi-fi connected. Teachers regularly use digital learning technology for teaching learning and evaluation process. The school has implemented ERP system for effective learning management system. The high capacity generator ensures uninterrupted power supply in the entire school. This strong technical foundation enabled the school to conduct online school most effectively during corona times using MS Teams platform.
Dance and Music
Excellent infrastructure in terms of special rooms for Music , dance , instruments , dramatics are provided in the school campus . excellent tools and equipments are available in form of musical instruments , audio visual facilities , recording facility , props for achieving the high level of outcome in these areas. Full time coaches as well as expert faculty, artists are invited to mentor children in these areas
STEAM Education
Science , Technology , Engineering, Art and Math [STEAM] are the areas which needs application based learning from school years , in order to get prepared for 21st century careers . For actualizing prime minister's dream of 'Make in India' Government of India has selected and supported few promising schools in the country to develop 'Atal Tinkering labs' as incubation centres. City Pride School is among those privileged schools in the country. School has developed state of art skill labs in various exciting STEAM areas. All our branches have different skill labs in areas of robotics & electronics, Animation and design, advance mechanics, fashion designing. Recently we have started Artificial Intelligence lab in two branches.
